The Greater Claremont Chamber of Commerce is a community leader, partnering with the city in special events like the Fall Festival and Winter Fest; supporting community programs like Banners, Map, and Gateway Project; and engaging in civic responsibility through the annual Candidates Social and Forum and by its members holding seats on city boards. As an advocate of the Greater Claremont area, the Chamber enhances its presence in the community and increases the visibility of the Greater Claremont area as a destination for visitors and for businesses looking to relocate, thus facilitating economic growth and vitality.
The Greater Claremont Chamber of Commerce encourages its members to get involved - the best way to get the most out of Chamber membership. Participating in joint city/chamber events - planning, volunteering, and sponsoring - serves the dual purpose of promoting their brand and benefiting the community. The Chamber also provides member directories, business referrals, and advertising options in its publications, further helping businesses to build and promote their brand.
The Greater Claremont Chamber of Commerce - with its members - supports the communities it serves through collaboration on city-wide events that draw large crowds and increase spending at local businesses; through media venues and publications (Image Magazine, NH ToDo Magazine, Hippo Press, WNNE, local media outlets to name a few); involvement in other local non-profit boards; and hosting occasional groups of volunteers and dignitaries.
