Ribbon Cutting Planning Information

Ribbon Cuttings are available any time for Greater Claremont businesses and are a great way to meet Chamber members.  Chamber board members serve as hosts for these events, and all Chamber members are invited to network.  No RSVP is necessary,

Chamber Executive Director, The Mayor and Chamber Board and City Council members, as well as local elected officials, are often on hand to join us in the festivities.

Ribbon Cuttings are generally held Friday at 2:00 pm and can include light refreshments. 

The Claremont Chamber of Commerce will:

• Notify its membership of the event through the monthly newsletter (depending on the day the newsletter goes to print),
• Add your event to the on-line calendar on the Chamber website,
• Provide Chamber staff to assist you and your guests,
• Notify Chamber Board of Directors and City officials,
• Provide giant scissors and ribbon,
• Set up the group for a great photo,
• Use the photo from the event in the monthly newsletter and possibly future e-mail newsletters.
